Royal Gardens Revamp

Siem Reap’s main green space, the royal gardens has seen some changes recently. A new water area with fountains has been created out of what was previously a hole in the ground and the lotus sellers have been relocated next to the new fountains in a purpose built building.

The royal gardens offer a green sanctuary in the heart of the city, famous for being home to thousands of bats which sleep in the towering trees during the day and migrate every evening, the park comes to life at dusk with locals playing badminton, walking and exercising.
